Services were held for Mr. Charles Ray Barr, 63, of Mendenhall, Tuesday, June 5, 1990 at 10:00 a.m. at Mims Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joel Eavenson and Rev. Jim Sellers officiating. Interment in Welch Cemetery.
Mr. Barr died at the St. Dominic Memorial Hospital June 3,1990. He was a retired Butcher at A & P Grocery.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Jewel Barr of Mendenhall; 1 son, Ray Barr of Jackson; 3 daughters, Diane Jones of Slidell, La., Brenda Mason of Jackson, Judi Elkins of Mendenhall; 2 brothers, Howard Barr of Mendenhall and Wayne Barr of Rena, Nevada; 3 sisters, Leona Maddox of Magee, Marie Titone of shreveport, and Tommie White of Brandon: Father: Mr. I. A. Barr of Mendenhall; 6 grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews, a host of friends and relatives.
