Helen Louise Legg, 72, of County Road 787, Mountain Home, Ark., formerly of Peoria, died Thursday, April 22, 1999, at her residence.
Born Nov. 27, 1926, in Stuart, Iowa, to Vern and Helen Dodge Cooper, she married James R. Legg Sr. on Aug. 22, 1949, in Bartonville. He died May 21, 1995, in Columbia, Mo.
Helen was previously married to Earl Rynearson and they had two sons, Jake and Ron.
One son, Jake Rynearson, one sister, Blanche, and one brother, Lawrence, also preceded her in death.
Surviving are four sons, James Legg Jr., Rick Legg, Gregory Legg, and Ron Rynearson; one sister, Kathryn Drake; and four brothers, Clarence Cooper, Vern Cooper, Earl Cooper, and Russell Cooper.
She was a housekeeper at the South Shores Resort in Missouri.
Burial will be at Swan Lake Memory Gardens.
