EDWARDS - Ronald L. "Reggie" Rynearson Sr., 68, of Edwards died at 11:05 a.m. Friday, Aug. 22, 2014, at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
He was born on July 15, 1946, in Dexter, Iowa, to Earl and Helen Rynearson. He was raised by his grandparents, Forrest and Tillie Rynearson.
Surviving are six children, Tammy Myles of Chicago, Pamela Rynearson of Seattle, Wash., Karen Parks of Elmwood, Rena Wright of Peoria, Jacob (Mandy Engel) Rynearson of Edwards and Ronald Rynearson Jr. of Edwards; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He had several half siblings and was preceded in death by his brother, Jake; and one grandson, Matthew.
He was a great father and a caring and loving grandfather.
Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 26, at Combs Cemetery, near Edwards. Visitation will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Elmwood.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
