83 of Winchester, husband of Ruth H. Watts Abney, passed away on Mon., April 2, 2012 at the Clark Regional Medical Center. Mr. Abney was born in Richmond, IN on April 6, 1928 to the late Rev. Rupard B. and Verlie Bivens Abney. He was a retired tool and die maker at the Lexington Bluegrass Army Depot, a member of the Epperson First Church of God, a Korean War Army veteran, a KY colonel, and an avid fisherman.
. Burial will be in the Winchester Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mr. Abney's grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 4 at Scobee Funeral Home.
