Frederick Baer, 44, town of Eaton, died at Manitowoc Hospital Monday. The son of Frederick and Mary Niederprum Baer, he was born on the homestead where he lived his entire life on Oct. 17, 1912. On October 22, 1938, he was married to Miss Dorothy L. Wolf, Sheboygan Falls. He was a member of the Holy Name Society of St. Gregory's Church, St. Nazianz.

In addition to his wife he is survived by four children, Mary Jane, Richard, Thomas and Anthony, all at home; two brothers , Henry of St. Nazianz and Joseph of New Jersey; six sisters, Mrs. William (Theresa) Merkes, Oak Park Ill., Mrs. Henry (Elizabeth) Binversie, Kiel R 1, Mrs. Clarence (Helen) Escher, New Holstein, Mrs. Arthur (Rose) Stein, Newton, Mrs. Linlie (Anna) York, Riverside Ill, and Mrs. Emil (Hildegard) Lulloff, Manitowoc.

Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Thursday at Kellenbenz Funeral Home, St. Nazianz, and at 9:30 a.m. at St. Gregory's Catholic Church, St. Nazianz. The Rev. Denis Zooney will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
