Services were last Wednesday at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Koeltztown for Hilda Mary Bax, 80, of Koeltztown. Msgr. Ralph G. Kutz conducted the funeral for Mrs. Bax, who died July 8 at a Vienna nursing home. Burial was in parish cemetery. Mrs. Bax was born Oct 8, 1915 at Koeltztown to Joseph and Anna Brunnert Bax. She was married Jun 20, 1941 at Koeltztown to August Conrad Bax, who died May 13, 1993. A member of St. Boniface parish, she also was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus and the Veterans of Foreign Wars, both at Argyle. She was a dietitian for 12 years at St. Mary's hospital in Jefferson City.
Survivors include four sons, Charles Bax of Argyle, Stanley and Julian Bax, both of Jefferson City, and Daniel Bax of Meta; two daughters, Norma Jean Bax of Koeltztown and Carol Fisher of Argyle. Preceding her in death, in addition to her husband, were six brothers, Theodore Bax, Adolph Bax, Alfred Bax, Hugo Bax, Isadore Bax, and Mathias Bax; and a sister, Coletta Bax.
