Isidore (Izzy) Frank Bax, 58, of 1503 W. Main St., died Tuesday morning at St. Mary's Hospital.

Mr. Bax was born March 31, 1911, at Koeltztown to the late Joseph an Anna Brunnert Bax. He attended Koeltztown schools and made his home in Koeltztown and St. Louis before moving to Jefferson City in 1952. Mr. Bax had been a self-employed contractor here since 1952 and a member of the St. Peter's Catholic Church.

He married Miss Alberta Brester, who survives, July 19, 1946, in St. Louis. Other survivors include one son, Larry Bax of the home; two daughters, Miss Patricia Ann Bax, attending the University of Missouri, Columbia, and Miss Angela Marie Bax of the home; three brothers, Adolph Bax, Foristell, Hugo and Matthais Bax, both of St. Louis; two sisters, Mrs. William Bax, Cicero, Ill., and Mrs. August Bax, Koeltztown.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Peter's Catholic Church by the Rev. Norman J. Ahrens. Burial will be in the Resurrection Cemetery. The Buescher Memorial Home is in charge of funeral arrangements.
