Services were held last Thursday at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Koeltztown for Coletta M. Bax, 83, of Jefferson City, a native of Koeltztown. Msgr. Ralph G. Kutz conducted the funeral for Mrs. Bax, who died Apr 20 in Jefferson City with burial in the parish cemetery. Mrs. Bax was born Feb 5, 1909 to Joseph and Anna Brunnert Bax. She was married Oct 25, 1933 at Koeltztown to William J. Bax, who died Jun 24, 1982.
Survivors included five sons, Jerome Bax of Rich Fountain, Harold Bax and Joe Bax, both of Jefferson City, and James Bax and Bill Bax, both of Taos; a brother, Matt Bax of Koeltztown; and a sister, Hilda Bax of Koeltztown.
