Alfred Herman Bax, 61, of Koeltztown, died unexpectedly Saturday at a local shoe manufacturing firm. Mr. Bax was born at Koeltztown on Dec. 21, 1904, the son of Joseph and Anna Brunnert Bax. He married the former Miss Agnes Schmitz on March 31, 1937, who survives.
Other survivors include one son, Arnold Bax, Batesville, Ark.; one daughter, Mr. Marvin Reinkemeyer, Koeltztown. Four brothers, Adolph Bax, Hugo Bax, Math Bax, all of St. Louis, Isidore Bax, Jefferson City; two sisters, Mrs. William Bax, Cicero, Ill., Mrs. Gus Bax, Koeltztown, and one grandchild.
Mr. Bax was a member of the St. Boniface Catholic Church of Koeltztown where funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev Ignatius Beran will officiate. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
