Mrs. Mary Jane Foster Gilliam, 90, and a resident of Columbia, passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2007, at Maury Regional Hospital.

Services for Mrs. Gilliam will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday at the Williams Funeral Home in Columbia with Elmer Lusk and Jack White officiating. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Friday from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Born in Giles County, she was the daughter of the late D.Z. and Maggie Foster and the wife of the late Allen S. Gilliam. She was a homemaker and a member of the Eastside Church of Christ.

She is survived by two daughter, Darlene (O.G.) Church of Columbia and Norene (Carl) Church of Spring Hill; six grandchildren, Dwight Hickman and Don Hickman of Chapel Hill, Dodd (Gwen) Church and Dana (Bryan) Ballard of Spring Hill, Kim (Mike) Kinzer of Sawdust and Jeff (Holly) Church of Birmingham, Ala.; and 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter and son-in-law, Betty and Horace Hickman and a grandson, Steve Hickman.

Pallbearers will be Don Hickman, Dwight Hickman, Dodd Church, Jeff Church, Mike Kinzer, Bryan Ballard, Bryan Hickman, Foster Thurman and Morris Thurman. Honorary pallbearers will be elders and deacons of Eastside Church of Christ, Dr. Gaylon Harris, Debbie Keeton, staff of Life Care Center and nurses at Maury Regional Hospital.
