Mr. Albert Porter Foster, 78, of the Yokley community, died Tuesday, February 7, 1984 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 9 at the Taylor's Chapel United Methodist Church, Lynnville, with burial in the Gibsonville Cemetery at Yokley, with the Rev. William H. Moss officiating. Mr. Foster was a retired school bus driver.
A native of Giles County, he was the son of the late Zebudee and Margaret Thompson Foster.
Mr. Foster is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nora Lovell Foster of Yokley community; two sons, James D. and Marvin Porter Foster, both of Birmingham, Ala.; five sisters, Mrs. Rosa Gibson, Mrs. Annie Mae Thurman, Mrs. Lola Pearl Felker, and Mrs. Mary Gilliam, all of Columbia, and Mrs. Cordelia Johnson of Birmingham; a brother, Mack Foster, Lynnville; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
