Leonard D. Bougher, of 417 E. 6th Ave., died at 11:45 p.m. yesterday, Nov. 11, 1974, at Hillview Nursing Home after an extended illness. He retired as a car inspector for the PRR in 1965 after 38 years of service.
He was born March 21, 1900, in Altoona, the son of Andrew and Jennie Bougher, and married Geraldine Justice on May 12, 1919, in Cumberland, Md. Surviving are his wife, four children, James and
Mary Moyer of Hollidaysburg, Mrs. Donna Leonard of Altoona, Mrs. Anna Mae Hale of Duncansville and Charles of Baltimore, Md.; 27 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and four brother and sisters, James, Mrs. Blanche Clowson of Duncansville, Harry of Altoona and Mrs. Merilla Flagle of Detroit, Mich.
Mr. Bougher was a member of the Altoona Bible Church. Friends will be received in the Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Juniata, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday.
