BUD — Vickie Lynn Sizemore, 58, of Bud died Wednesday, July 14, 2010, at her residence following a sudden illness.

Born December 24, 1951, at Mullens, she was the daughter of the late Victor B and Sybil (Sampson) Lawson.

Vickie was a homemaker, a 1970 graduate of Mullens High School, and a former bank secretary.

Vickie's life revolved around her family, Jay, Keri, Scott, Karrigan, Matthew, and Kaleb.

In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by a brother, Arnold Lawson, and a sister, Glenda Lawson.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving companion, Johnnie "Jay" Jessie; a daughter, Keri Maynard and her husband, Timmy, of Mullens; a son, Scott Sizemore of Mullens; three grandchildren, Karrigan Sizemore, Matthew Sizemore, and Kaleb Sizemore; six sisters, Betty Goad and her husband, Lawrence, Lois Presley, Phyllis Williams and Jeanette Compton and her husband, Al, all of Mullens, Brenda Salango and her husband, Tom, of Hurricane and Carol McKinney and her husband, Calvin, of Charleston; two brothers, Donnie Lawson and his wife, Linda, of Mullens and Ronnie Lawson and his wife, Natalie, of Randleman, NC.

Services will be 12 noon Monday, July 19, 2010, at Tankersley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Linkous officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Beckley.

Friends may call Monday from 10 a.m. until time of services at the funeral home.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
