Peggy Delores Presley, 81, of Mullens, passed away on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 in a Beckley hospital.

Born April 27, 1937 at Yukon, WV, she was the daughter of the late Victor and Sybil (Sampson) Lawson.

Lois was a homemaker and a member of the former Mullens Family Worship Center.

In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Thomas Presley; one grandson, George Edward Lester, Jr.; one brother, Arnold Lawson; and five sisters, Glenda Lawson, Phyllis Williams, Jeanette Compton, Vickie Sizemore, and Betty Goad.

Those left to cherish her memory include her four children, Kathy Lester and Ed of Mullens, Tammy Isom and her husband, Kenneth of Sophia, Larry Presley and his wife, Tonya of Mullens, and Linda McLean and her husband, Mike of Barkers Ridge; eight grandchildren, Eddie Lester, Mark Lester, Nikki Stover and her husband, Michael, Seth Presley, Breann Eder and her husband, Travis, Chase Presley, Michelle Carter and her husband, Josh, and Wendi McLean; several great grandchildren; two sisters, Carol McKinney and her husband, Calvin of Charleston and Brenda Salango of Hurricane; two brothers, Donnie Lawson and his wife, Linda of Mullens and Ronnie Lawson of Randleman, NC; and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be 12 Noon, Friday, May 18, 2018 at Tankersley Funeral Home Chapel, Mullens with Pastor Chalmer “Chuck” Morgan officiating. Burial will follow in the Still Run Cemetery, Itmann.

Friends may call one hour prior to services Friday at the funeral home.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
