Born May 20, 1947 in Monroe, Ron was the son of the late Lillard W. and Madge L. Beeler. Ron attended Monroe Public Schools as well as Monroe High School.
On April 2, 1966 Ron married his beloved wife the former Betty L. Prewitt at Clark Street Baptist Church in Monroe.
Ron worked for Chrysler's Trenton Engine Plant in Trenton, MI for 43 years, from which he retired as a Job Setter in 2007.
Ron was a devout Christian and a member of Monroe Church of the Nazarene where he served as an usher. Ron was a member of the National Rifle Association and enjoyed hunting and playing golf. Ron was a true prayer warrior and devoted his life to his Lord and Savior. Ron was also a kind and caring man who enjoyed time with family.
Ron is survived by his beloved wife of Betty, of nearly 46 years, a son Brian Kenneth Beeler, a daughter Dawn M. Lambert of Monroe, seven cherished grandchildren, one treasured great grandson, three brothers: Lillard W. (Carolyn) Beeler of Monroe, Donald E. Beeler of Flat Rock, and H. David (Jean) Beeler of Lupton, MI, two sisters: Agnes Brewer and Ruby Braden both of Monroe and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents Ron was preceded in death by, two brothers: Glen and James Beeler and one sister: Peggy Jones.
Visitation will be held on Saturday from 4-8 PM and Sunday from 12-8 PM in the Bacarella Funeral Home, 1201 S. Telegraph Rd. in Monroe. On Monday, March 5, 2012 he will lie in state at Monroe Church of the Nazarene, 3401 S. Custer Rd. in Monroe from 10:00 AM until funeral services celebrating his life at 11:00 AM. The Rev. Randall Hartman, pastor of the church, along with Rev. Eric Kenneth Drummonds, Ron's grandson, will officiate. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to Monroe Church of the Nazarene.
