Samuel Thomas Jefferson Brown, son of Samuel Bayless Brown and Francis Ellen Wasson Brown, married Lavenia Ann "Vennie" Robinson on November 5, 1879 in San Saba County, Texas.
Samuel (Simon) Thomas Jefferson Brown family came down into Oklahoma from Missouri about 1878. Then down into Texas to San Saba County, Texas. There he met Lavenia Ann Robinson, and they married in 1880.
About 1890, they moved to and bought a farm 9 miles North of Weatherford, Texas.
Samuel and Lavenia were the parents of 8 children:

3. William Nathaniel "Burt" Brown
4. Samuel Jerru Brown
5. Thomas Jefferson "Jess" Brown, married Mae Anderson

Sisters, Nannie Muril Brown and Victoria Lillie Brown were the daughters of John Christopher Brown and Nannie Smith Brown, after their deaths in 1904, were reared by Samuel (Simeon) Thomas Jefferson Brown and his wife Lavenia Robinson Brown.
