Lillian K. Mellott, 91, of Meeting House Road, died Thursday, April 10, 1997, at her home.
Born Nov. 21, 1905, in Frederick County, Md., she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Elizabeth Longman Hayes.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert T. Mellott, in 1970.
She was a member of Grossnickle Church of the Brethren, Myersville.
She is survived by one daughter, Mary Susan Abin of Lander, Md.; four sons, George Marvin Stottlemyer, Vernon Stottlemyer, Roy Stottlemyer and Ercy "Tex" Stottlemyer, all of Myersville; one brother, Eldin "Pete" Hayes of Blue Ridge Summit, Pa.; 15 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Ellen Jackson; and one son, Gordon Stottlemyer.
Memorial services will be held Sunday at 3 p.m. at Grossnickle Church of the Brethren. The Rev. Ronald A. Beverlin will officiate.
