LEBANON — A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Feb. 18, at Smith-Lund-Mills Funeral Chapel in Cottage Grove for Eileen Pontius-Charon of Lebanon, who died Feb. 8 of age related causes. She was 92. A potluck will follow the service noon at the funeral home.
She was born Nov. 25, 1919, in Elkton to Arthur and Fannie Henderer Clemo. She married Orval Pontius on Aug. 19, 1942. He died Aug. 24, 1978. She married William Charon in Reno, Nev. He died April 8, 1985.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include two sons, Loren Pontius of Roseburg and Dwight Pontius of Arizona; a daughter, Sherryl Coats of Lebanon; a brother, Lyle Clemo of Boise; a sister, Lenore Huckins of Drain; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Rodney Pontius.
Inurnment will be at Yoncalla Masonic Cemetery.
