Funeral services for Lester Dozier, who died Friday in a Concord Hospital, will be held today at 2 p.m. at Galindo Street Chapel of Bryant-Lough-Oulmet, Concord.
A native of Missouri, Mr. Dozier, 75, was a Concord resident for 17 years and was a carpenter.
He is survived by five sons, Harvey Laverne Dozier, Jack, Bud, and Sammy, all of Concord, and Gene of Hawthorne; six daughters, Mrs. Luetta McClean, Mrs. Kaye Royse, and Miss Twila Dozier, all of Concord; Mrs. Susie Jones of West Pittsburg, Mrs. Patty Buxton of Virginia, and Mrs. Dixie Jo Douglas of Missouri; two sisters, Stella Smith of Iowa and Mrs. Clarcey Rasnik of Missouri; 22 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Interment will be at Oakmont Memorial Park, Lafayette.

Lester R. Dozier, son of John and Lucinda Jane Kinder Dozier, was born in Holt County, Missouri on December 29, 1895. He married to Hazel May Webster on April 11, 1921 in Missouri. He died February 26, 1971 at Concord, Contra Costa County, California at the age of 75.
