Wilma Darlene Jones, affectionately known as "Susie," 89 of Buffalo, Missouri passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2020.
Susie was born in Watson, Missouri on December 24, 1930. Susie was the daughter of Lester Dozier and Hazel Webster. Susie grew up in the Watson area. Susie married Delmont W. Jones in Topeka, Kansas on December 16, 1946 and they were married for 58 years and had 5 children together. Susie was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Military Order of the Purple Heart of the U.S.A., Inc.
She is survived by four children: Shonnette (Rick) Bischoff of Buffalo, Missouri, Marcia (Dean) Mason of Tunas, Missouri, Riley (Dale) Jones of Brentwood, California, and Shannon Jones of Buffalo, Missouri. She also has 13 Grandchildren, 33 Great-grandchildren, and 21 Great-Great grandchildren. Furthermore, she has one brother, Jack Dozier of California, and one sister, Pattie Fremont of Virginia.
Susie is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son, Anthony Jones, 11 other siblings, and Great-Great grandson, Leslie.
Graveside services will be 10:00 am Thursday, November 12, 2020 in the Maple Lawn Cemetery under the direction of the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home of Buffalo, Missouri.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday, November 11, 2020 in the Funeral Home.

WED AT HIAWATHA KANSAS
Miss Susie Dozier of Watson and Kenneth Long Jr., of Rock Port slipped away at Hiawatha, Kanas, last Saturday evening and were married in the Kansas Town. They were unaccompanied. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Les Dozier and the groom a son of Mr. and Mrs. K. O. Long. Miss Dozier attended the Watson schools and her husband the local schools. He was discharged from the army in February after 38 months of service. Their plans are indefinite, as the groom is contemplating going to Kansas City to attend a trade school.
