Mrs. Hattie Myrtle Childers

Mrs. Hattie Myrtle Childers, 64, of Eastview, died at her home February 12th at 2:00 p.m. following a three year illness.

She was born in Weston, February 7, 1891, daughter of Alvin and Alma Whetzel Cottrill.

Her husband Epp Childers died in 1953.

Surviving are two daughters: Mrs. Claude Snyder, Stonewall Park and Mrs. Clarence hardy, 207 Bond St.; two sons; Terry of Eastview and Carlton at home; three brothers; Hoy C., Charleston; George W. and Durward both of Weston; three sisters; Mrs. Gladys Bollinger, Mrs. Idella Fletcher and Mrs. Emily Gum, all of Weston; seven grandchildren.

A member of the Eastview E. U. B. Church. Friends may call at the Davis Funeral Home, 443 W. Pike St., after 7:00 p.m. Sunday. The body will be taken to the Eastview E. U. B. Church on Tuesday, February 15th to lie in state from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. the funeral hour. The Reverend Hartzel Bodkin, pastor of the church will officiate. Interment in the Stonewall Park Cemetery. Davis Funeral Home.
