Epp D. Childers, 65, of Murray Street, Eastview, a retired plasterer, died at 2:15 p.m., Sunday, in a local hospital after an illness of two years.
A native of Harrison County, he was born March 22, 1887, a son of Robert Floyd and Susan Virginia Carter Childers. Surviving are his widow, Hattie Cottrill Childers; two sons, Terry of Eastview and Carlton, at home; two daughters, Mrs. Clarence Hardy, of 207 Bond Street and Mrs. Claude Snyder, of 208 Maple Ave., Stonewood, and three brothers, Dallas, of Eastview; Jess, of 158 W. Main St., and Ace, of Maryland.
Mr. Childers attended the Eastview EUB Church.
