Wyomia Snyder
Mrs. Wyomia Virginia Snyder, 70, of 310 Maple Ave., Stonewood, died at 7:40 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 27, in United Hospital Center, following an extended illness.
She was born in Weston, Feb. 13, 1917, a daughter of the late Epp and Hattie Cottrill Childers.
Her husband, Claude B. Snyder, preceded her in death Nov 19, 1972.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. James (Rita) McClung, Marshall, Minn. and Mrs. Robert (Twila) Allman, Clarksburg; two sons, James M. Snyder, Stonewood and Paul C. Snyder, Salem; one sister, Mrs. Clarence (Rita) Hardy, Clarksburg; one brother Jim C. Childers, Stonewood; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Terry (Rosella) Childers, East View; nine grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Also preceding her in death were one daughter, Betty Lee and one brother Terry Childers.
Mrs. Snyder was a member of the Stonewall United Methodist Church. She was a former member of the Women's Society of the church, a former Sunday school teacher in the church and a member of the choir.
