Mary Ellen CASTLEMAN, 90, of 107 W. South St., Argos, died at 4:20 p.m. Wednesday at the Mayflower Nursing Home, Plymouth, where she had lived for two years. She was born March 1, 1898 in Argos to William and Flora YATES FEIKERT. She lived all her life in the Argos community. She was married Dec. 17, 1924 in Plymouth to Ernest CASTLEMAN, who died in June 1942. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Barbara ANDREWS and Mrs. Jack (Rosemary) SWIHART, both of South Bend, and Mrs. Rebecca WARREN, Quincy, Ill.; two sons, Rex CASTLEMAN, Argos, and Larry CASTLEMAN, Portland, Ore.; eleven grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Mildred GREENLEE, Plymouth. A grandson, a sister and two brothers preceded in death. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Grossman Funeral Home, Argos, with the Rev. Richard LEWKE officiating. Burial will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Argos. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and one hour before services Saturday. Memorials may be made to the Heart Fund or the Pacific Garden Mission in care of the Argos Christian Church.
