CONWAY — Bennie Clarence Barnes Jr., age 40, of Conway died December 15, 2005. Bennie was born July 8, 1965 in Hertford County, the son of the late Bennie Clarence Barnes and Mary Parker Barnes. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Clarence Barnes, his mother-in-law, Linda Hutchinson, and a brother-in-law B.J. Hutchinson. He was a member of Conway Baptist Church and a farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Lori Hutchinson Barnes; his children, LeAnn Barnes, Robyne Barnes and L.J. Barnes, all of the home; his sisters, Rachel Bolton and her husband Larry and Ina Turner and her husband Billy, all of Suffolk, VA; his brothers, Jeff Barnes and his wife Thelma of Courtland, VA and Bennie E. Barnes and his wife Thelma of Denbiegh, VA.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 19 at Conway Baptist Church with the Rev. Willie McLawhorn officiating. Burial will follow at Conway Cemetery.
