Steven Jakubowski, 64. of 224 Crescent Ave., died yesterday at his home after an apparent heart attack. He retired four years ago from Syracuse China Corp.
Mr. Jakubowski was born in Daisytown, Pa. and lived ia Syracuse most of his life.
He was a communicant of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, a member of its Holy Name Society, Knights of Columbus, St. Louis Athletic Club and he bowled in several leagues with a low handicap. He served in World War II in the Army.
Mr. Jakubowski is survived by his mother, Mrs. Bertha Jakubowski: five sisters. Mrs. Frances Wisk, Mrs. Ray Jakubowski. Mrs. Wanda Rhodes, Mrs. Celia Brutcher, Mrs. Regina Rubacka and Mrs. Betty Langdon; two brothers, Raymond and Chester.
Services will be Saturday at 8:15 a.m. at Bordynski Funeral Home, and at 8:45 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church where the pastor, Monsignor Adolph A. Kantor will celebrate
a mass. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Calling hours are 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow and there will be a prayer service tomorrow at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
