Obituary of Regina Rubacha
Regina “Reggie” Rubacha (92) of Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at home in Baldwinsville. She was the daughter of Bertha and Alexander Jakubowski.
Predeceased by: husband Bruno, siblings: Wanda Rhodes, Fran Wisk, Celia Brutcher, Chet Jakubowski, Sophie Powers, Steve Jakubowski, Ray Jakubowski.
Regina is survived by her children Peter Rubacha (Natalie) of Tennessee, Deborah Stefanko (Mike), Raymond Rubacha, Paul Rubacha (Theresa), grandchildren John Stefanko, David, Michael, Amanda, Ashley, Beata, & Zoe Rubacha, 7 great-grandchildren and her sister Betty Langdon.
Reggie was a proud and independent woman who lived life to its fullest, as a socialite and a prominent member of the Polish Home, Sacred Heart Mother’s Club, and Seniors. She enjoyed traveling and experiencing new places. She loved to have a good time and she reveled in giving gifts to her children and grandchildren.
Calling hours: Sunday, 2-4 PM at Hollis Funeral Home 1105 West Genesee St, Syracuse.
Funeral Mass: Monday, 9:30 AM at Sacred Heart Basilica, 927 Park Ave, Syracuse.
Burial: Sacred Heart Cemetery, Geddes
