My Aunt Alleyne.....just thinking of her brings a smile to my face. :) she had the best sense of humor! Loved shopping with my Mom, they would go all day! Had the brightest blue eyes, and they always had a twinkle to them. Made you think she knew what was going on ALL THE TIME, regardless if you didn't tell everything. :)

I remember she told me the first time she saw me, she couldn't wait to swoop me up, well, I was shy, VERY SHY, and I ran behind my Dads legs to hide..being the wise woman she was, she ignored me!

It worked. hah, and before long I was her shadow. She had this GREAT GAME! 52 card pick-up!! Kept me busy for hours!

Busted my head open 3 or 4 times on a side brick wall to her house...she and Mom also rushed me to the Dr. she worked for because I got a sick stomach...from.......laying on my stomach!! That still just doesn't click! I spent several summers with her and the rest of my Dads family in Jeff City, MO I loved it!! and, yes I miss it still.

The last time I saw my Aunt, AND My Cousin Midge, was in 1990.

I was tickled to death to see them, AND they got to meet my first born.a little boy named Sean. then and now, he is the spitting image of my Dad and brother and I think THAT tickled her as well. She LOVED her baby brother to death.

I think of my Aunt Alleyne, and all the others that have passed on..but know that we will see each other again one day.

I still remember one of her FAVORITE songs! Donna Fargo I'm the Happiest Girl in the Whole USA

Have a listen, that song WAS my Aunt....I never NEVER saw her sad...she WAS the HAPPIEST person I ever knew...nothing got her down!
