At this point, there is still NO gravemarker for my Cousin. She served in the Military, and to me this is a disgrace!
My Dads' niece, cousin to me. "PeeWee" was so much like my Dad it wasn't funny. She was a member of the Womens Army Corps and even after she left the Military she was still "Military" in mindset the rest of her life. Her training was Dental Assisting, and other aspects of Dentistry.
She met Elvis Presley,in Hawaii, literally met, spoke to him, and wasn't impressed at all!!! She liked the other guy! As an 8 year old, I couldn't fathom how she didn't just faint on the spot! :)
She adored my Dad as a child and tried to mimic everything he did, even wearing his Sailor outfit while he was in School during the day, from what I understand, Dad didn't like that at all, but....didn't put much of a fight to stop it, :) It was a "covert" op haha....wearing during the day, getting out of it and changing it before Dad got home from school....something they all laughed about when they were much older.
I'm proud of my Cousin, proud of all of them.. even though I haven't written Bio's for all yet, we were a very tight, strong, and loving family.
I miss them all so much.
Note: PeeWee's Bio Dad, obviously is a Prather, however, I never met him, he NEVER was in the picture to my knowledge, I know nothing on him. My Uncle Russell raised PeeWee, and he is the one she called DAD.
