There isn't much I can write for a full Bio on Clarence Wright. He was my "Step-grandfather" if that is even the correct definition. My Grandma Faye was married to him, but not that long, 2 daughters were born, my Aunts, Alberta and Alleyne, and Grandma Faye divorced him. I have the dates, but really no need to post here. I know why Grandma Faye divorced Clarence, but again, no reason to post it here. Other then that, I know very little. My family didn't talk about him, however, that was something that my Dads family did, it wasn't just a rule, it was a solid belief, not to gossip about other people, and "If you cannot say anything nice, don't say anything at all"

Trust me, they didn't, and I didn't ask.

I do know that Clarence married again, and had 3 more children, a son, and twin daughters, who I believe have all passed away, the remaining twin girl, to the best of my knowledge was the last surviving, and I believe her passing wasn't too long ago. The photo shows him with his son, his brother, and his brothers son.

Clarence fought in WWI and I know that Grandmom Faye was married to him at that time, as I was sent a photo of a "pinic" that all the Wright women attended, the photo is dated 1918. This was taken in Illinois, and I'm pretty sure that Clarence lived in Illinois his entire life.

What I find interesting is that Grandmom Faye isn't the only one that married into the Wright family, her older sister Margaret did as well, and that marriage lasted, with 2-3 children.

I wonder if the Wright family were neighbors of the Parker family? You hear it, but, in my humble opinion, you don't hear it that often, that 2 sisters marry 2 brothers. Perhaps I will find out one day.
