Mrs. Wilnettie ALDERFER, 87, a resident of the Grandview community, died suddenly of a heart attack at 1 a.m. today in the Miller nursing home. A lifetime resident of Richland township, she was born Dec. 24, 1874 to Samuel and Caroline RANNELS McCLURE. She was married in 1894 in Fulton county to Clinton L. ALDERFER, who died may 29, 1959. Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Earl (Glenn) HARTMAN; Mrs. Harry (Florence) MORRIS, Mrs. Dean (Mabel) ARMEY and Mrs. Luetta MARTENS, all of South Bend, and Mrs. Walter (Edith) CLEVENGER, Rochester; five sons, Lee [ALDERFER], Argos; Carl [ALDERFER], Tippecanoe; Vern [ALDERFER[, Mishawaka, and Ralph and Lester [ALDERFER], Rochester; thirty-two grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren. An infant daughter, Margarete [ALDERFER], and another daughter, Mrs. Alta Fern HIATT, preceded in death. Funeral arrangements are pending at the Grossman funeral home in Argos, where friends may call after noon Sunday.

Funeral services were conducted this afternoon at the Richland Center Methodist church for Mrs. Clinton (Wilnettie) ALDERFER, 87, who died of a heart attack at 1 a.m. Saturday in the Miller nursing home here. The Rev. Roman MILLER of Dowagiac, Mich., officiated at the rites and burial was in the Richland Center I.O.O.F. cemetery. The Grossman funeral home of Argos was in charge of the service. Mrs. Alderfer had been a lifetime resident of Richland township.
