She was born in Yorktown and lived in the Muncie area most of her lifetime. She attended Yorktown schools and worked for 28 years at Ball Brothers, now Ball Corp. She was a member of Ball Brothers Quarter Century Club and the American Legion Auxiliary.
Survivors include a son, Carl F., Muncie; a daughter, Louvena R. Pittenger, Muncie; a sister, Lula M. Lykins, Muncie; a brother, William F. Wiggerly, Daleville; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Parson Mortuary-Adams Chapel. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery. Calling hours are at the mortuary from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today.
