Ward S. Wiggerly, 79, 1207 S. Shipley St., died Thursday at his home. He was a Delaware County native and was a former Warner Gear employee and had later owned and operated Wiggs Furnace Co.
He was a member of Masonic Lodge 433, Eagles Lodge 231, and the Mount Pleasant Brotherhood and Sisterhood.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Gladys; a daughter, Mrs. Mildred Aylor, Muncie; four sisters, Mrs. Blanche Miller of Anderson, Mrs. Reba Lucas and Mrs. Lula Lykins, both of Muncie, and Miss Neva Wiggerly, Yorktown; two brothers, Forest of Muncie, and William of Daleville; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at Meeks Mortuary after 3 p.m. Friday and any time prior to services at 1 p.m. Saturday. Rev. Lloyd S. Willert of Yorktown Methodist church will officiate. Burial will be in Elm Ridge Cemetery.
Muncie Masonic Lodge 433 will hold memorial services at the mortuary at 8 p.m. Friday to which all friends are invited.
