Miss Wiggerly died Wednesday in Ball Hospital following a lengthy illness. A native of Delaware County, she graduated from Yorktown schools and Valparaiso University.
After teaching in Idaho, she returned to Indiana and attended Chicago Art School, Butler University, and Indiana University.
She was also a first grade, music, and art teacher in Indianapolis for 49 years.
She was a member of Naomi Chapter 104, Order of the Eastern Star, a member of the Indiana Nature Study Club, the Audubon Society, and the Indiana Artist Club.
Survivors include a brother, William of Daleville; two sisters, Mrs. Lula Lykins and Mrs. Reba Lucas, both of Muncie; and several nieces and nephews.
