EASTON - Fern E. Tomlin, 87, of 204 N. First St. died at 7:38 a.m. Wednesday, March 7, 2001, at Graham Hospital in Canton.
Born Jan. 28, 1914, in Easton to George and Susan Furrer Athey, she married George L. Tomlin on May 29, 1937, in Nashua, Iowa. He died April 22, 1978.
Three brothers and one sister also preceded her in death.
Surviving are two sons, Dan (and Kay) of Farmer City and Ted (and Myrna) of Apopka, Fla.; one sister, Grace Dawson of Waterloo, Iowa; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was a member of Easton United Methodist Church and its women's groups.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at her church. The Rev. Larry Rodgers will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 tonight at Hurley Funeral Home in Havana. Burial will be in Easton Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to her church.
