Susan E. Whiteman Berry Cramer, 90, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2011. She was born in Sedalia, Mo., on Nov. 26, 1920, to John Casey and Earlie Sanders Whiteman. She was the second of 10 children (eight boys and two girls). Her older brother, Lt. George Whiteman, was the first airman killed at Pearl Harbor. Whiteman Air Base in Knob Noster, Mo., home of the B-2s, is named after Lt. Whiteman.

She was the beloved mother of Randy Berry (Sharon), Gayle Kent (Joe), Cheryl Sisk (Jake), Dr. Glenn Berry, Dean Berry (Lori), Dennis Berry (Pam), Janice Yearry (Rick) and Marsha Painter (John). She had 24 grandchildren and many great- and great-great-grandchildren.

She married Ray A. Berry in 1939, and moved to Hamilton, Mo. In 1959, they moved to Prescott, Ariz., where she spent 52 happy years. After Ray's death, she later married former Yavapai County Sheriff Jim Cramer.

She was preceded in death by her eldest son, Randy, husbands Ray Berry and Jim Cramer, her parents and all eight of her brothers.

Please join the family in celebrating her life 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 28, 2011, at Hampton Funeral Home, 240 S. Cortez St. in Prescott.

Interment immediately following Memorial service in Mountain View Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Heifer International, P.O. Box 8058, Little Rock, AR 72203.
