She was born April 7, 1907, in Clay County, to Fred and Louise Steffen Pohlman, and she lived in the Clay Center community for many years.
She married Warren Cameron on May 5, 1924. He died June 1, 1979. Two sons and a daughter also died.
Survivors include two sons, Warren "Bud" Cameron Jr., and Charles Cameron, both in Clay Center; two daughters, Fay Alsup, Mountain Home, Ark., and Darlene Huey, Independence, Mo.; two sisters, Salma Keifer, Oak Hill, and Irene Tucker, Smithville, Mo.; 10 grandchildren; many stepgrandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home in Clay Center. Burial will be in Bloom Cemetery about four miles west of Morganville. Visitation will be after 8 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
