Charley was raised in Morganville. He served in the US Navy during the Korean war. Charley married Ramona Indorf on June 1, 1963. She preceded him in death on November 1, 1985. Charley worked for Hutchinson Manufacturing and at Great Plains Ag as a truck driver.
He was also preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, Bud, Pete and Doc Cameron, two sisters, Ina Mae Cameron and Faye Alsup, 2 step-sons, Lloyd Wallace, Jr and David Wallace, a step-daughter, Rachael Klein.

Graveside Services will be held on Friday, May 27, 2016 at 1:30 PM at the Greenwood Cemetery in Clay Center, KS
