GARFIELD -- Funeral services will be Wednesday for Thomas G. Spencer, 75, who died Saturday at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center, Paterson.
Mr. Spencer was born in Paterson, living in Clifton and Paterson most of his life before moving to Garfield a few years ago.
Prior to retirement in 1970, he worked as a millhand for the Morris Paper Co., Paterson.
He was a World War II Air Force veteran and a member of the BPO Elks Lodge 60 of Paterson.
Surviving are his wife, the former Louise White; two sons, Curtis of Reno, Nev. and Thomas of Medford; two daughters, Mrs. Alice Catanzaro of Highland Lakes and Mrs. Sandra Spagnolo of Oakland; a sister, Alice Spencer of Clifton; 11 grandchildren and a great-grandson.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. from the Gorny and Gorny Paterson-Clifton Mortuary Paterson.
