Floy Iola Allison, age 84, a resident of Russellville, AR, died Saturday, March 17, 2001 at Baptist Medical Center at Little Rock, AR. She was born on September 30, 1916 at Woolum, AR, to Theron Claude and Sadie Elmyra (Cotton) Allison.

During WWII, she worked at the Defense Plant located at Jacksonville, Arkansas. She was a retired bookkeeper with the Arkansas District Council of the Assemblies of God Church and was a former secretary for the Trinity (Central) Assembly of God Church in Little Rock. As a past time, Miss Allison enjoyed crocheting, flower gardening and researching family geneology.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Benjamin Allison; a sister, Irene Bowen, her parents. Miss Allison was a member of the First Assembly of God Church at Russellville.

Survivors include three brothers, Voris and Bennie Allison of Merced, Paul Allison of Hector, James L. and Anna Allison of Hector; two sisters, Velma Allison of Russellville, Flora Henderson of Hot Springs.

Funeral service will be 2 P.M. Monday, March 19, 2001 at the First Assembly of God Church in Russellville officiated by Rev. Larry Moore and Burial will be at the Rock Springs Cemetery at Hector, AR under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service. The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. Sunday.
