Fort Benton--Rina L. Robinson, 86, died Sunday in a local hospital following a brief illness. Services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic church.
She was born in Fort Benton. After completing her education in 1915, she was a legal secretary to Stranahan and Wiley law firm and the Stockman National Bank. She later was a court reporter under Judge F. E. Stranahan. In 1934, she was employed by the RCCA , a regional cattle credit association in Helena, and in 1940 she married John A. Robinson in Helena. In 1941, they moved to Lewistown to operate the Lewistown Exchange Store and were agents for Case Implement Co. Retiring in 1963, the couple moved to Great Falls where Robinson died in 1968. She has lived in Fort Benton since 1981.
Survivors include a sister, Jeannette LaBarre, Fort Benton; two stepdaughters, Mildred Perretti and Ethel Smith, both of Great Falls; and a stepson, Fred Robinson, Seattle.
