Hugh Clay Hilton, age 89, went to be with the Lord, September 2, 2011.
He is preceeded in death by his wife, Mattie Hilton; daughter, Charlotte Hilton; father, Jess Hilton; mother, Ollie Mae(Smith) Hilton; brothers, Carl Hilton and Curtis Hilton; sisters, Nattie Liford, Ruth Davis, and Walaska Sisk.
He is survived by his daughters, Carolyn Kirkpatrick and husband Robert; Glenda Crawford and husband James; Grandson Scott and wife Emily; great-grandsons, Garrett, Clay, and Levi Crawford; brothers, Gale Hilton and wife Irene; Bill Hilton and wife Shirley; sister Martha Smith and husband Herman; sister-in-laws, Mary Hilton, Blanche Presley, and Willie Presley. Several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 4, 2011, in the chapel of Colboch-Price Funeral Home from 6 – 8 P.M. with Funeral services to immediately follow, Rev. Gordon Presley officiating. Graveside services will be held on Monday, September 5, 2011, in the Shady Grove Cemetery at 11:00 A.M.
