ELLENBURG CENTER-Raymond Tourville, 56, died Saturday evening at CVPH Medical Center. He was born Nov. 24, 1922, in Ellenburg Center, the son of Herbert and Catherine (Miner) Tourville.
Survivors include his wife, the former Irene Soucia; two sons, Carl Tourville, of Ellenburg Center, and Wayne Tourville of Plattsburgh; six daughters, Mrs. Gary (Carol) Revette of Plattsburgh, Mrs. Floyd (Wanda) Collins of Merrill, Mrs. Kenneth (Sandra) Charland of Standish, Miss Beverly Tourville of Ellenburg Center, Mrs. Craig (Susan) Cole, of Brasher Falls, and Mrs. Roger (Linda) Barber of Standish; two sisters, Mrs. John (Bernice) Sibley and Mrs. William (Theresa) Begor of Mooers Forks; three brothers, Gordon Tourville of Ellenburg Center, Richard Tourville of Ellenburg Center, and Ronald Tourville of Chateaugay; 12 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Mr. Tourville was a town of Ellenburg Democratic committeeman.
Calling hours will be held at the Drown Funeral Home in Ellenburg from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 today. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Edmund's Church in Ellenburg. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
