He was born on October 28, 1947, son of Raymond and Irene (Soucia) Tourville.
Carl served in the United States Army from 1968 to 1970, a Veteran of the Vietnam War, and went on to marry the former Gale Hart, daughter of George and Elsie (Clark) Hart, on December 29, 1971.
He worked at Wyeth Ayerst for 31 years until his retirement.
Carl was an active member of his community, serving for 16 years as a former town of Ellenburg Councilman, a 44 year member of the Knights of Columbus, and was an honorary member of the VFW.
Carl was also an avid New York Yankee and Boston Celtic fan.
Survivors include his loving wife Gale Tourville; sons, Chad Tourville, Douglas (Karen) Trombley, and Dean (Tina) Trombley; daughters, Carla Moulden and Dawn (Joseph) Seguin; sisters, Carol Bedard, Linda (Chet) Thuber, Wanda (Martin) Roiller, Sandra (Dave) Shambo, and Susan Cole; sister-in-law, Denise Tourville; grandchildren, Joshua Jubert, Krrynne Vincent, Danyelle Trombley, Joseph Seguin, Joel Trombley, Natasha Seguin-Congrove, Brianna Howie, Jonathan Seguin, Taylor Trombley, Kaitlyn Goodenough, Sarah Trombley, Kailiegh Moulden, Josiah Trombley, Dustin Barkley, and Ashley Pitts; great-grandchildren Aidan, Chloe, Kole, Alexys, Addison, Blake, Payton, Joseph, Ollivander, Carson, Lochlan and Cameron; and many nieces and nephews.
Carl was predeceased by his parents; sister, Beverly Tourville; and brother, Wayne Tourville.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, June 1st at 12:00 p.m. in St. Edmund's Church in Ellenburg. Family will begin to receive guests at the church starting at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted into the care of the Rabideau Funeral Home, 5614 Route 11, Ellenburg.
