He was born January 19, 1887, in Franklin Township, Greene County, a son of Irvin and Sattie Zook Lippencott.
He has been a life-long resident of Greene County.
Mr. Lippencott was a retired mine hoisting engineer, and a member of UMWA 6330, of Chartiers; and a member of the Calvary Baptist Church, Lippencott.
His wife, Erma Lewis, died in 1964.
He is survived by four daughters: Mrs. Beatrice Adamson, Mrs. Marie Neff, and Mrs, Elaine Murphy, all of Clarksville, R. D. 1; and Mrs. Thelma Venick, of Clarksville; one sister, Mrs. Edna Nichlos, of Waynesburg, R. D.; nine grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchiildren.
Three brothers and one sister are deceased.
