Bartley Lippencott, a well known young man of Franklin township, died Friday morning, April 7, after a lingering illness of tuberculosis. He was a member of the Baptist church. Mr. Lippencott was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Sylvanus I. (Sarah) Lippencott, of East Waynesburg. He was united in marriage with Miss Edna Miller, who with three children survive. His parents and the following brothers and sisters also survive: Ewing Lippencott, of Castile; Chauncey and Ora Lippencott, and Mrs. Furman Nichols, of East Waynesburg.
