OBITUARY - Death of Louis Carl Braatz
Louis Carl Braatz, 69, 107 East Howard Street, died Friday at 4:45 p.m. at his home after a month's illness. Death was due to a heart attack.
Mr. Braatz was born at Ridgeway, August 26, 1871, and had resided here 20 years. He followed the trade of a painter.
Survivors are the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Bertha McNally and Mrs. Louise Davis, Lamoille; William, Witoka; Mrs. Edward Farnholtz, Mrs. Paul Timm, Charles and Anna, Winona.
Mr. Braatz was a member of the Winona County Old Settlers Association.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the Breitlow Funeral Home, the Rev. H. J. Wein officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. (Louis was actually buried in Witoka Cemetery - the Newspaper was misinformed)
Friends may call at the funeral home this afternoon and evening and on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m.
