Charles A. Braatz
Charles A. Braatz, 82, 107 East Howard Street, died early this morning at Winona General Hospital after a brief illness.
Born Nov. 9, 1876 near Ridgeway, he was a lifelong area resident and had lived here more than 20 years. He was a self-employed painter.
Mr. Braatz never married. He is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Bertha McNally, Pickwick, and Mrs. Louise Davis and Anna Braatz, Winona.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 23, at 2:30 p.m., at Breitlow Funeral Home, Dr. J. Allen Kestle, Central Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Witoka Cemetery.
Friends and family may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday.
