Margaret married Charles Ambrose Wertz on July 14, 1875, and they were the parents of Gervaise, Roosevelt William, Edna Mary, Loyola V., Ambrose Charles, Magdalene (Sister M. Georgina, IHM), Robert Rufus, Grace, and Elizabeth (Mother M. Beata, IHM).
She died on November 27, 1937 at the age of 85, and was buried with her husband in St. Thomas the Apostle Cemetery in Bedford, PA.
