Bessie A. Wisor MINERAL SPRINGS - Bessie A. Wisor, 74, of Mineral Springs, died Sunday, Sept. 5, 1993, at Clearfield Hospital.
Born May 29,' 1919, in Penfield, she was a daughter of the late Stephen and Margaret (Druggs) Hunt.
She had been employed by both McGregor Sportswear and the former Clear Haven Nursing Home. She was a member of Spring Valley United Methodist Church for more than 56 years.
She is survived by five children: Arnold R. Wisor of Mineral Springs, Melvin L. Wisor of Woodland, Barbara A. Peters of West Decatur R.D., Arthur P. Wisor of Woodland and Gail Rauch of Mineral Springs.
Also surviving are 18 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, two step- grandchildren and five step-great-grandchildren. She was the sister of Mary Parks, who survives in Seneca.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Wisor was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence J. Wisor, whom she married Sept. 19,1936, who died in 1988. She was also preceded in death by seven brothers: Spencer, Donald, Harry, Paul, Stephen, Charles and Frank; and three sister, Myrtle James, Mabel, and Eva Welliver.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home Inc., Clearfield, with the Rev. Edward H. Putt Sr. and the Rev. William Norman officiating.
Interment will be in Spring Valley Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today and until the hour of service Wednesday at 11 a.m.
